Nutriva – Produção e Distribuição Alimentar, Lda., renewed the international food certification IFS Food at its plant in Vila Nova de Poiares, having obtained a score of 92.51%. The complexity of the Manufacturing Unit in the association and integration of 6 units in the same structure, sharing resources, increases the daily challenge and overcoming in terms of teamwork.
The International Featured Standard (IFS) Food certification is a reference recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) that guarantees the safety and quality of food products and processes.
As a family business with 100% Portuguese capital, this is a particularly important milestone for Nutriva and for the Central Region of Portugal, as it is a standard that, in addition to Food Safety and the guarantee of production of safe products, reflects the implementation of viable processes, based on risk assessment, which have repercussions on the success of the implemented and standardized management strategies.
